The resources are divided into 4 categories: Mental Health, Physical Health, Education and Family Supports.

Donegal Power Packs Project Enrolled Students at the Donegal Primary and Intermediate schools receive a food pack with a recipe and necessary ingredients every Thursday at the end of the school day. firstname.lastname@example.org
Faith Outreach Center Food Bank Provides community residents with access to a food bank on the last Wednesday of each month from 4-6 pm. Must bring ID and two proofs of address. Everyone is welcome. Call United Way 211: They will complete over the phone Community Housing and Referral Team (CHART) questionnaire to evaluate appropriate resources in our area. This is also the way to get access to emergency shelter.
Elizabethtown Community Housing & Outreach Services (ECHOS) Provides case management services including winter shelter placement, rapid rehousing, permanent housing and other supportive services (please call 211 first). Mount Joy Helping Services Can offer limited assistance with rent/utility payments and occasionally provides temporary lodging at the Red Rose Motel for individuals experiencing homelessness. Application required. (Must be a Mount Joy resident to qualify) Contact: Pat Paules 717-653-5585

Representative Dave Hickernell’s Office: Offers assistance applying for and checking the status of medical assistance, SNAP benefits and LIHEAP (heating assistance). Assistance with tax and rent rebates, getting copies of birth and death certificates, and with any state-related agency issue.
